James Maloney (rugby league)
James Maloney (born 15 June 1986 in Orange, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League. A New South Wales State of Origin representative five-eighth, he previously played for the Melbourne Storm, New Zealand Warriors and Sydney Roosters.
== Playing career ==
Maloney's father, Brian Maloney, was a lock forward and captain coach of Orange CYMS in country New South Wales.
A St Edward’s and North Sydney Bears junior, James Maloney joined the Parramatta Eels in 2007 and helped the Wentworthville Magpies win the New South Wales Cup in 2008.
